Mrs. Vasudevi Kailas is from an effluent family in Vizianagaram . She was wedded to Sri Kailas S.R. in 1963

She promoted M/s. A P Met Engg Ltd. As one of the promoter directors, as an assisted unit of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation. She is also the Manging Director of Ravi Kailas Builders Pvt, Ltd., the director of Sree Kailas Industrial Gases Ltd.,and also sole proprietrix of the Hyderabad Transport Company. Most of the ventures promoted by her are functioning with good progress.
